Nine newspapers, two radio stations and one television station from 12 school groups across mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira. These are the protagonists of this documentary, which interviewed between May 2023 and June 2024 dozens of students and teachers involved in promoting school media. School Media – Voices in Action is the result of Task 4 of the research project ‘bYou – Study on children and young people’s experiences and expressions of the media’, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (PTDC/COM-OUT/3004/2020), which took place at the Communication and Society Research Centre at the University of Minho.
