“Express Yourself!” Campaign
The campaign “Express Yourself!: Shout out, speak out, do something” was created with the aim of calling on children and young people to submit expressions created and sent in by them about the media or other subjects of their interest.
All the expressions received were organised and presented on the online platform Mural bYou.
Five different versions of the posters were designed, with a dynamic and colourful visual identity, supported by background images referring to different activities that young people commonly engage in, such as selfies, dancing, writing, talking or even skateboarding.
These posters were emailed and posted to the various partner schools involved in the project, as well as to many other schools across the country.
On the back of A5 flyers, there was also a text inviting children and young people to submit videos, podcasts, photographs, paintings, texts, poems, dances, songs, drawings and other creative forms to express themselves about the importance of media in their lives or other issues that interest them.
At the same time, a promotional video for the campaign was created for distribution on social media, and a shorter version was broadcast on Portuguese national radio and television in early 2023.
